I was a bit concerned when I read "an image says a thousand words" in the excerpt here.
The more sites I look at, the more I come back to the simple notion that our words often let us down.
We can recognise a product shot which looks 'wrong' and whip it off the site. But we leave basic product descriptions there without thinking twice.
I believe that we need to do more to "sell" our products and seduce people into wanting to buy them.
Good, persuasive, words will do this -- and bring loads of organic search brownie-points too.
But when I clicked your link through to the original article, I was glad to find that the second section began
"Rob Snell, "Pimp Your Products, Sell More Stuff"
Not my choice of words, but I couldn't have put it better.
